The Media Research Group (MRG) is licenced by the Copyright Agency Limited (CAL) to scan, store and distribute newspaper articles to our clients.
For customers who wish to distribute digital clips within their organisations, MRG has agreements in place with CAL to acquire ‘downstream’ licences.
Under Australian copyright law, the downstream licence allows clients to email and retain as an email digital press clips for a period of up to three months from receipt of the clip; and display the clip on the intranet for a period of up to seven days from receipt of the clip.
